Destiny MacCartney joined Kaizen Financial Strategies as Client Services and Marketing Associate in March 2020. In this role, she supports the team in efficiently running day-to-day operations, including client onboarding, client service requests, client appreciation and educational events marketing and logistics.

Prior to joining Kaizen Financial Strategies, Destiny was part of the recruiting team for New York Life Insurance Company and was responsible for recruitment of investment advisors and agents in the Silicon Valley. Before New York Life, Destiny worked as an Associate for six years in the Portfolio Analysis Group at Lighthouse Capital Partners, a venture debt firm providing financing to early-stage technology companies. Destiny began her career as the Capital Stock Accountant at Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, where she first developed her passion for finance.

Destiny received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University, with a focus in International Business.

When she is not at work, Destiny enjoys hiking with her husband and three children, traveling to countries with spotty cell phone service, and stand-up comedy.
